Introduction

Dr. Thomas Bunin is a dentist who lives and practices in Bucks County. He has over twenty years of experience and advanced training in a specialty known as Prosthodontics. Prosthodontics is the true art of restoring teeth to look as natural as nature intended them to be. He also has training and experience in restoring implant cases.

Education

Dr. Bunin received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in mathematics from the University of Colorado in 1977. He received his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1981 and a Specialty Certificate in Prosthodontics in 1983, both received from Temple University School of Dentistry. Prosthodontics is one of only eight specialties recognized by the American Dental Association. A Prosthodontist's professional education includes several years of additional training after dental school in an accredited advanced dental education program.

Affiliations

Dr. Bunin is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society, the Ewing Study Club and the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Bunin also has been granted an appointment to the Medical Staff of the Albert Einstein Medical Center.

Continuing Education

Dr. Bunin attends numerous courses yearly, especially those relating to implant and cosmetic dentistry.

Personal Interests and Family

Dr. Bunin is a past President of an NAIC investment group locally and past President of Toastmasters, a national public speaking club. He enjoys bed-and-breakfast getaways, is taking singing lessons, plays the keyboard and has been performing magic since he was 6 years old. His family includes his wife Diane, stepchildren Carl, Nicholas, Kenny, his granddaughter MacKenzie and several pets.

Assisting Staff:

Our chairside and support staff assists the doctors during dental examinations and treatment while helping to provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.  They are responsible for using our state-of-the-art sterilization center to assure that our high standards are met.

Our highly trained hygienists and their assistant/coordinator take care of routine cleanings, home care education, periodontal scalings, maintenance visits, sealants, and fluoride treatments.

Receptionists & Business Staff

Our receptionists and business staff handle a multitude of tasks including: appointment scheduling, answering and directing phone calls, processing insurance claims, discussing billing questions, and making financial arrangements.
